Katherine Englander

Founder and president of HRP4B Inc, which is a successful full-service HR firm serving Ontario based out of the Elgin Business Resource Centre in St. Thomas. Katherine, holds a BA degree in French and psychology; a Certificate in Human Resources Management, and an HR Business Partner Certificate.  She has over thirty years’ experience in HR and has been teaching part-time at Fanshawe for 12 years. She is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association as well as several Chambers of Commerce.  She proudly serves as a Director on the Elgin Middlesex Oxford Workforce Planning Board.

Katherine and her staff offer HR services including recruiting, workplace harassment investigations, policy and handbook development, assistance with layoffs, dismissals and outplacement counselling while complying to employment law. 

Katherine built the firm based on over 30 years of working experience in Human Resources.  Katherine worked closely with Hick Morley Labour Lawyers in her first HR position.  Since then, she has held a number of HR Management positions and worked for two different recruiting firms, for several years, as both a Staffing Specialist and a Branch Manager.   As Branch Manager, her branch sales were over $5,000,000.00 per year and as such, it was a busy branch with proven ongoing success. She has recruited locally and internationally.  She has also worked as an Employment Counsellor at Conestoga College and became a ‘peer reviewer’ for the Second Career Program.  She is continuously learning through ongoing professional development.   While working on a provincially-funded project, she wrote a manual called, “Mind the Gap – Comparator Research and related Best Practices in Recruiting”.  The manual was published in January 2015.  It explores both the demand and supply sides of skills gaps locally and internationally.   She is certified as a Personality Dimensions facilitator.  She enjoys life in Port Stanley with her spouse Brad and miniature rescue poodle Piper. Brad and Katherine have 5 adult children.

Denise Bate-Thompson 

Senior HR Consultant at HRP4B Inc. As an HR Professional she has a very strong background in Union and Management relations; 25+ years’ experience in maintaining Human Resource Departments with Companies that employed Unionized and non-union associates. Her areas of expertise are coaching, working with managers on performance management, staffing, investigations, compensation, labour relations, benefits, policies and procedures, training, health and safety programs, communications and employee services. She has the ability to see the “big picture” and implement site and corporate policies, programs and initiatives that are both strategic and operational in their scope. She graduated in Human Resource Management and Mediation, and she is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario and the ADR Institute of Canada Inc. She studied Contract Negotiations through the University of Western Ontario, Business Management at Dana University in Toledo Ohio, and is certified as a Health and Safety Trainer with the Workers Health and Safety Centre. Denise has solid experience in HR Management. Denise’s most recent long-  term role was as the Human Resources Manager at Kraft Heinz in St. Marys for nine years.

Trevor Blondeel

an operations expert with over 25 years of experience as a leader in the automotive manufacturing industry. Currently, the Director of Operations and founder of Operations Kickstart in 2016, Trevor originally started with TNT Logistics supporting Ford, then spent most of his career in the progressive Magna International. His passion for developing future leaders and his innate ability to assess operational issues has allowed him to help numerous organizations, in various sectors, reach their full potential.
Backed by an Honours degree in Business Administration (Operations Management) from Brock University, Trevor is a published author of a paper on senior leadership issues in manufacturing, and regularly writes book reports and articles helping himself and clients. Trevor is a proud graduate of the Center for Executive Coaching with a specialty in Manufacturing Leadership, where he gained additional coaching skills and techniques that empower him to help clients accelerate the achievement of their goals. He is a Professional Certified Coach, having received this designation from the International Coaching Federation, where he is an active member. Recently certified through Genos International, Emotional Intelligence has become a core life changer in the leaders Trevor works with, changing lives for the better. These certifications align with his personal values of cultivating people, building trust and living in that positive culture.

Karen Rampersad

 highly enthusiastic individual who stops at nothing to achieve her goals! She is a very passionate and hardworking young lady with a strong understanding of various sectors of business obtained through her studies! Karen started as a co-op student at HRP4B Inc. She progressed quickly through her co-op term at HRP4B Inc. and now as a part-time employee, she has her own clients that she provides HR Service to through HRP4B Inc. 
She is a recent graduate from theBachelor of Commerce (HR) program at Fanshawe College.  She also graduated from both the Business- Human Resources and Business Administration- Human Resources programs with high grades, prior to getting her Degree. She has developed core skills and fundamentals of leadership and delivers excellent customer service. Karen worked at Tim Hortons for 7 years which enabled her to pay her own way through school and to purchase a car on her own. 

Deb Meadows

has worked strategically with local companies to assist with their workforce and recruitment needs for over 10 years. By working closely with clients she is able to help identify specific HR gaps. She has helped companies improve internal communications, within their organization to pinpoint strengths and reveal obstacles, and opportunities for dramatic improvement. She is a life long resident of Woodstock and actively participates in my community. She is a strong leader and has a passion for helping people which is reflected in the strong relationships that she built over the years with clients.

Mallary Simmons-Perez 

discovered her interest in HR through her desire to help others.  She decided to
attend Durham College and take the HR Advanced Diploma program to learn more about HR and prepare herself for a successful career.  Since graduation, she has worked in the HR field for 8 years with a focus on benefits, pension, and compensation but she also obtained general HR experience throughout her career.  Currently, her focus has been on creating job descriptions, handbooks, policies, recruitment, pay equity projects and other various administrative projects relating to HR.

Amanda Veitch

has worked with local manufacturing companies where she brings extensive generalist knowledge in both HR and Health and Safety practices. She has a passion working with start-up companies or organizations looking to develop and enhance their HR practices.  

Amanda obtained an Undergraduate Degree at Western University and Graduate Certificates in Human Resources Management and Occupational Health and Safety from Fanshawe College. Amanda received her CHRL designation and sits on the Board of Directors as the Chair of Mentorship and Workshops with the London and District Human Resources Professional Association.

Kim Moore

Over the last 12 years, Kim Moore has been a manager at Conestoga College where she effectively led service teams, to support local communities, residents, and employers through government contracted services aimed at improving and understanding the local labour market.

For 20 years, she has engaged with local residents experiencing career change in Perth, Huron, and Waterloo regions where she has  found great satisfaction in helping displaced workers realize new directions and opportunities. Recently, she chose to leave her management position to explore new horizons with her varied skills set.  Kim is quick to understand the interconnectedness of systems, processes and people and works to collaborate with teams to reach their key outcomes through continuous improvement plans.   Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Speech Communications, and a Career and Work Counsellor diploma, as well she is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Personality Dimensions facilitator.  She excels at high level thinking including strategic planning.

We contacted Katherine at HR Partners 4 Business because we had several questions about our employees which we needed answered.  We needed direction, guidance and support with decision making and had thought about contacting a lawyer.   Katherine was able to reference Ontario regulations such as the Employment Standards Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code to confirm things we could and could not do with our employees.  She remains our ongoing HR Consultant.
